First off, this isn't IMO one of the 'typical' SHO Shop bashing posts, just my experience with them over the last almost 3 months.

I started emailed/speaking with Tom late Janaury/ Early February about parts for my 3.0L CSVT swap I had plan and was starting. The parts purchased were as follows:

Another EH Pass on the UIM
SS LIM (equivilant to the SHOs BBB)
Quaife
HiRevs JR Clutch
SS Flywheel
Quaife Install kit.

Do the man and it comes up to about $2100. Not small change to most of us here.

I actaully placed my order mid February, and according to SS's website, and confirmed with Tom, the Manifolds should take about 3-4 weeks to complete. So in my mind I was thinking 4-5 weeks actually for them, and about another week for shipping. I wasn't really in a big hurry as of yet for the parts due to just getting spun up on getting parts together for the project.

About 4 weeks pass, and I haven't heard anything, so I give SS a call to see whats up. They didn't have the intakes back yet. No biggie.

About, another week goes by and I call, and leave a message asking for Tom to give me a call back and let me know what is up. Tom calls me back saying that UIM was still out at EH. No biggie.

Now the fun starts.

I call the following week and speek to Tim. Now, I'm told that they have to pick up the LSD and go to EH and pick up the UIM. Ok. Cool.

Call the next week, and speak to Tom, now the machine shop has 'run into something (or something along those lines)' with my LIM.

Etc, Etc, Etc.

I guess my point in, my SS experience wasn't terrible, nor was it what I would call a good experience. I honestly felt as though I was getting yanked around, and given a 'stall tactic'. Everytime I called, I got an answer, BUT it was a different answer.

Yesterday, I called and spoke with Tom, to make sure that my parts were on their way (received the UIM/LIM last week). And they did ship on May 1.

I do have to say thank you to Tom, for finding the answers out for me, and when/if I do deal with SS again he will be the ONLY one I will talk and deal with there.
