I've got a tap ready for those exhaust threads!!!

Seriously, if we don't break at least one, it's going to be a miracle.

I need a parts washer full of B-12...you can buy that in gallons at Autozone I believe. That might make things easier, and maybe cheaper.

If you want to sandblast and paint the intake and valve covers, harbor freight has glass beads, which I thought worked pretty well. I tore apart my temporary blasting booth, but it wouldn't take much to make a new one.

Put a torch on those puppies until they're glowing then take them off. Worked on my '92 with 240,000 miles on it without breaking any. Good luck!

I get scared whenever I use a torch on an automobile, seems like lots of things are flammable, and when your wedged underneath the car, or a wheel well, you don't have a lot of room to escape.

But we'll probably have to get creative anyways.

I'll spray some more PB on them before I go to work, hopefully they will come off. If not, there are several ways around it.

It was tight but I wasn't too worried about scorching anything, I didn't anyways (my first time using a torch too)! If they aren't budging, just stop before you snap them and try the torch. Might save you the agravation of putting in new studs (not that it wouldn't be a good idea anyways). Just don't touch the nut! Good luck!

Ugh, so an incredibly busy month later and I'm about a day away from finishing the car.

It has a had new:

Rod Bearings
Water Pump
Plug Wires
Plugs
Belts
Intake Gaskets
Cleaned LIM and Intake Runners & Surge Tanks

All in all, this project went way over in the time department and HAS to get moving on it's own power this weekend. So I'm burning the midnight oil again and finishing her up.

To Joe and his dad :hail: I owe you guys steaks when we grille out, I'll bring them!
