My first SHO

I have been digging through posts for a while, so I figured I would introduce myself. I recently got a 2010 SHO, and I love it so far. It needs some love cosmetically (missing LH fender emblem, trim missing above RH rear window, RH light in bumper missing, etc), and I have no idea how well maintenance has been kept up so I will be changing all the fluids. I have already learned alot just reading through posts, so hopefully I can contribute something as well.

Catch your oil and send it in for a sample. See if the engine is in decent shape. Can learn alot from it and it will give you a great idea of its prior maintenance.

I use Blackstone Labs.

Thats a good idea, Ill do that when I change the oil this weekend.

Since you won't have the sample bottle in time. Make sure you clean catch in a very clean container. And also warm the oil to op temp, pull the drain, count to 10 then take a sample. Never sample as soon as the plug is pulled. It'll skew the readings
