moon roof motor problems

i have a 1992 sho and recently my moon roof motor went. i purchased a motor of ebay it was off i 94 sho. i was told all the generation 2 sho motors are the same.when i went to switch the motors the clip that came out of the motor from my 92 motor did not match the clip to plug in the 94 motor. Can anyone help.
