I'm dumb.

Was driving [beating on] my 94 MTX today and I missed a shift.

Seems to run and sound fine. Except it seems harder to shift now and the engine vibrates at idle.

With the car off the trans seems to shift fine but while it is running it seems harder to shift into gears. While driving the engine vibration seems to go away. Lucky I don't seem to hear any kind of knocking noise. The engine just seems to vibrate.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

My guess is something in the clutch let loose like a pressure plate strap. Did you hear any unusual noises?

Thanks for the responses. I can hear a slight rattle [other than the normal TOB rattle] sometimes around 4k. Other than that the car seems to drive well. Clutch pedal feels off so I think it is clutch related

I'm going to try and check the motor mounts tomorrow. Are there any simple tests to check the mounts? What about the clutch or do I have to rip it out?

the motor mounts are easy to check. open the hood. put on the parking brake. put car in 1st and start to let out the clutch. watch the top of the engine to see how much it lifts. if it moves up and inch or more, the front motor mount is bad. repeat in reverse for rear motor mount.

if you broke something in the clutch (which is my guess) then you want to "rip it out" before it lets go and "rips out" part of the transmission for you.

Missed shifts or things like 1-2-1 shifts will snap a PP strap. Shifting gets progressively harder as the rpm rises, to where an attempted shift above about 4K or so is near impossible.

My guess is a pressure plate strap.
Pull the starter and look inside the bellhousing.
