That's right, I'm not a car guy. I am attempting to clean (or even, locate) my IAB/ISC according to the instructions at SHOtimes.com. I have removed several parts (I don't know how to describe them) but then I came to a yellow label that says "Do not clean throttle body or adjust stop screws" or something to that effect. I have cleaned all the parts to the "left" of this (if you are facing the car from the front) have I done a bad thing and should I clean this "throttle body"? Any help and especially pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Wes

the IAB will be (as looking from the left side of the car nearest the throttle body over to the right) over the the surge tank, and right before the snakes start. You fail to mention whether you have an MTX or ATX, this will determine how easy your job it. There are 2 5mm allen screws there at you need to remove. When the IAB is removed, you can just spay some carb cleaner in the 2 holes to remove the buildup.

It's a 94 ATX. I accidentally got some C&C cleaner in the throttle body (the part that said not to clean it) is this going to be a problem?

Thanks,
Wes

no, alittle cleaner shouldn't harm much. An ATX is easier to do the IAB on, due to a smaller nose and more area to get an allen key in.
