May 12th Swap Meet/BBQ

Well, seeing as we finally have nice weather! we will be having another BBQ hosted by our own Ken Thompson and family. This is the day before mothers day, Saturday, May 12th. What we plan on doing is heading out to the Tweeter Center for their swap meet. After the swap meet, Ken has graciously offered his house and new grill for a BBQ. This will of course be a BYOB event and we will be asking for a donation to help offset the cost of food that Ken and family will have to purchase beforehand, it's only fair guys/gals.

This will be open to your family as well, as are all events. Bring the wife and kids, should be a great time.

I am sure Ken can shed some more light here. He did mention people should let him know if they are going to need accommodation's for the night

Well I suppose I should ask for your help if this BBQ gig is going to turn up a winner. Lets do this; If you think your going to SHOw up for the BBQ I need to know NO LATER THAN 11 PM MAY 10th.Call my cell # at the end of this post and leave a message ONLY if your coming to the BBQ and number of guests you are bringing.That gives us a window to look at the weather.Things have to be purchased and its a huge help to have a good idea for the quanity. If you have some "special dish" you are famous for and want to share, by all means, bring it. I have a limited number of folding chairs so if you have one please bring it. If there is even a hint of rain I have 3 canopys that can be set up.
As Randy stated I will have limited accomedations availible, so the Henry Street Portable Detention Center will be open for business (sleeps 6).
So here are the "nuts and bolts"

Breakfast: Breakfast Buffet in Walpole, I assume normal meet time, 8-9am.
Swap meet: Tweeter Center, Rt.140 Mansfield, All Day.
"Burgers,Beer and ********" BBQ, at my place, 21 Henry St. Mansfield,Ma. 6:00pm until whenever. Please call my cell phone and leave message if you and guests are attending BBQ NO LATER THAN 11 PM MAY 10th, 508-612-0097. Thanks.

Oh he's not for sale, I may bring him to the next breakfast though. As for a breeder we got him from a guy who's dogs mated without his intention, so we got a free gsd out of it.

I'm still working on mine, don't think it'll be ready by that weekend though. Still have to replace the mani studs, and the POS AutoZone clutch with the bad PP, and a rear cam seal also. I'll get up there this year though. I might even leave the NYY stuff back in NY too.

Just a reminder for the yeas by the 10th. Winnie is takeing Friday off to do some stuff including food shopping. She WILL get cranky if I say " honest hon,I don't how many are SHOwing up". That will put me in the Mobil Detention Center for sure . May wind up there anyway, depends on my navigational prowness in the wee hours

if you have a special dish you would like to bring...by all means. other than that is is just BYOB. on that note though, I would think there is to be no underage drinking because that puts ken and fam liable by law.
