I'm considering a set of springs for my car. On the plus side, it will greatly improve the look of my car. On the negative side, I'm not sure I'll care for the firm ride while driving every day. So the deciding factor is performance. I'm at the point where I am limited at the drag strip by too much wheel spin or wheel hop. I've heard that springs can help this by resisting weight transfer when launching.
So, my questions are, does anyone have before and after info about the springs? How did it effect your quarter mile time and 60' time? What are your impressions on how the car rides, both at the track and in every day driving?
I appreciate the luxury aspects of this car as much as I appreciate the performance of it. I'm a bit worried about how the car will ride with the springs. However, every time I look at the car, it looks more like a circus wagon than a performance car.

There is no way I could get my 60' time down in the 1.7x range. Unfortunately, it seems like the lighter wheels I put on aren't as helpful as I thought they would be. I'm realizing that going quick and fast in a front wheel drive car is a little more challenging than going quick and fast in a rear wheel drive car. I'm pretty sure I would need at least a meth kit and cat back exhaust to get in the 12.3x range. To go quicker than that, I would need all of those parts and "mine shaft" conditions.
