I have read that you supposedly can lower front/rear the SHO by loosing the strut clap and sliding the strut up or down. (approx drop ht is 3/4-1 in). I really havent pursued this, so I am really not sure how to do it. Check V8SHO.com to see if there a faq there on this.

Lowering the SHO....would you really want to? For driving around where i live it is already too low....how about raising it up in the air

The SHOShop makes lowering springs for the Gen 3. Check out the suspension part of the 96-99 area.

On the bottom it says "lowering springs". I'm sure if you called them...you could order a separate set.

One gent who lived in Colorado put them in his SHO last year...but then had to sell it.

Thanks for the info on the springs. I ordered a set today and they were on special for $120.00 for the set plus $7.00 shipping. That is a good deal if they work and are stiffer. I will let everone know as soon as i get them and get them installed.

I ordered a set of the Roush Springs for my 99 Taurus SE (I know, it's not an SHO but I love it anyway). They drop it 1.5". It has stiffened up the ride considerably...it handles much better now. I don't know how to post pix but I'll e-mail pix to anyone who's interested. Let me know at [email protected]

Let me know if they work.... hope they have a money back guarantee.
I am interested sort of, but I read you can lower the SHO using the clamps that hold the struts.
