Hey gang.Suspension is not my game at all so I'll ask the experts. When I turn into a driveway or on a sideroad Ill get a creaking sound.I notice it most the slower I turn into the drive.Just happens when the body is in a flex.If on flat ground I hear nothing. What should I look for?I have only replaced struts, nothing else as far as suspension goes. Thanks for any help! :)

Have you ever replaced your subframe bushings? Do you have marks on your intake manifold that appear to be from engine movement?

Sway bar to body bushings are known for this, especially if you have polyurethane bushings installed.

Try to localize the source of the noise for a better guess.

Mine developed a random, hellacious "snap-bang" noise when turning or flexing. Couldn't get it to do make the noise all of the time. After looking at all of the usual suspects (CV's, loose ball joints, swaybar, bearing plates, etc.) it turned out to be the strut rod mounts. Remove the nut and bushing where they go through the rad support and check. The support required welding the bushing plate back in place.

I'll go with Blue-By-U, I'd check this out first. I've heard a nasty creaking noise from an improperly installed subframe nut (upside down). It allowed the subframe to move slightly, mostly on 1st gear startups. Check the torque on the bolts and make sure they are up to ***** so the subframe isn't moving.

it could just be groaning couldn't it i mean its not like these cars are new. it could be fixed by some stut tower bars or supports that run from ur front subframe to rear subframe. or it could be some of the stuff they said like subframe bushings.
