dont want to throw gas on a bonfire, gotta turn off that AC during a planned WOT. Any codes under the DTC? just a shot in the dark, disconnect the car battery for 10-15 mins. After a pull at WOT the AC cut out and the compressor clutch wont engage. AC was working great before this. Checked fuses and connections everything seems OK.

I had a new battery waiting to go in so I installed the new battery. Same issue. No DTC codes. on the SHO is there a relay for disengaging clutch at WOT or is it controlled via a module? On other vehicles at wot it usually would throw an over pressure code and dis engage the ac. Usually just clearing the codes reset it. Or un plugging the bat tree. Doubt there is an issue with anything. Just a safety shutoff hopefully.
HahahaIf you find out you need an AC compressor let me know as I have one with 72k on it I'd let go pretty cheap.
do you know which adapter ... can it scan the ms-can bus? He's using FORScan which can scan all modules for DTCs. What are the codes, if any?
I recharged it and it came back. The high side was low so my guess is at WOT it went over pressure. It could have something to do with the tune I have but I am just going to make sure AC is off before flooring it again.Uh, every Ford I've ever owned has shut off the A/C at WOT (Except my new truck which is a Hybrid and i believe uses an electric A/C compressor) to reduce parasitic engine load. My dad said his 1973 Mach 1 had a switch on the carb that would cut the A/C out at WOT. I think this is expected behavior.
Did it come back after you let out, or did it stay off?
