I've seen a lot of people on here say that they lost power after they changed their plugs. I've had my plugs changed, and motorcraft wasnt the plug that was used. I've lost a lot of power since then(about 20,000 miles ago) is it possible that all this time my butterfly valves havnt been opening because of my low end power loss? and if so where are they located on the engine because i looked today and i couldnt find anything opening or closing. Oh and there is supposed to be a plug i can pull while the car is on to check the valves, where's that at, and when is it supposed to open or close? and if they are or arent opening then what do i do to fix it. thanks, this may solve a few problems that i've been having with acceleration for a while.

there is a canister like object on the rear of the intake that a vacuum line goes into. you might have forgotten to connect this. the secondaries open on the rear of the intake. you will see it open if you take the rpm's past 4,000. It looks like a little spring valve that opens and closes. by the way.....did you use the motorcraft agsp32pp plugs?? if you didn't, then this could also be your problem. other plugs can fail out within 10,000 miles or less. the motorcraft agsp32pp are the ONLY plugs to use. GET them.
