Thanks, will def try thatYou have keyless entry pad on the door?
I don't remember if GenII body parts all bolt up to '92. I think so, but that is the weird transition year.
Either way, go to car-part.com put in the info in the search feature and used parts from around the country will pop up. I would focus on SHO parts first so you know it will bolt up and go. THe items that come up, you can go to each column and click (at top or bottom) and it will list and organize according to distance from you, price, condition etc.
If you find something promising, call and confirm everything you need to know before pulling the trigger.
Are they SHO model doors?I have a red and a green 92 drivers side door. However, I am no where near texas...
They are SHO, with SHO cladding. I have several to pick from. Its a 24 hour drive each way. I guess that is only far by some peoples opinion, I mean its not across the whole united states, so there is that! Are they SHO model doors?
If so I might not mind taking a drive if it's not too far, currently waiting on a non sho door I looked up to see if it'd match up
Thanks. I could actually get a pallet and do this. However, for all this trouble it should really be a white door ready to hang. I only have green and red. But that's just my opinion, i'm not the buyer.Have shipped doors in the past via shipment to a freight terminal. You would need to find a carrier that is nearby GreatBrit and yourself, then call them tell them Class 85 freight (for car parts) then say "nothing on top" they will quote you around a hundred bucks. Be ready to picku up the door at the freight terminal near you as soon as they call you, don't want something like that handing around. G-B would need to get a pallet (40x48 inches) and strap the car door to it. Hope this helps.
