I'm not sure this is the correct forum to post this in, but I am sure I'll figure that out shortly...

A friend of mine just got a 95 ATX with every option except full leather. It's a clean ride, but the sunroof panel that houses the switch and map lights hangs down in the front (by the windshield).

Does anyone have a clean mocha panel that they could part with?

Also, would it be a hard job to swap out? Believe it or not, the switch works perfectly.

Any help/comments/criticism/hexes/spells would be appreciated.

What color? And are you sure its not just missing a couple of screws or something.

I had the same problem, just not to that extreme. Went to the local Pick n Pull, and found myself one for 10$ (Ford wants 250$ for that peice of plastic). I went to a auto paint store and bought interior paint and painted it the color of my interior. Works like a charm. That panel is a SLO part along with a SHO part. You should be able to find at least one at a local yard, cheap and easy.

Oh yeah! Upon closer inspection of my own sunroof panel I realize I have exactly the same problem. I think I will just glue it with some epoxy or jb weld maybe.

Mine was broken too, I used epoxy to re-attach and reinforce the attachment points where the metal meets plastic.
That was many months ago, it is still up there real tight :) Very easy and inexpensive!
