I've done some searching but can't find anything definitive on whether or not to use a catch can system on the SHO.

I once had an SRT8 Charger and data logging confirmed adding a catch can reduced my WOT KR. I traded that car for my old '11 Mustang GT and it was widely known (for that car) that a catch can was advisable for the passenger side but not so much for the driver's side of the motor.

What about the SHO? I've read a few threads about it but haven't found a general consensus on if they are beneficial or not.

Only if you can verify the need for one by checking intake piping/intercooler. A light mist of oil is normal, pooling is not. For the 13+, there is a TSB for valve cover update for Bank 1 to combat the problem, if they verify you have one.
