I got all four new strut, had no problem with rear ones, no problem with right front but left one. I put it all together, started engine, put into gear and lost LH halfshaft. Got new one same problem, with strut in spindles can't move halfshaft and it was hard to put strut in(this time didn't start the car). The only way to move halfshaft freerly is remove arm mounting (rear one, near tranny). Looks like halfshaft too long (or arm too small), but has same measurment like old one. I don't understand it :laugh_ti:

Anyone had problem like this?

thanks

Sometimes an axle will feel like it is in all the way, and often times is not bottomed out. If you feel that it is for sure in all the way, take a white grease pencil to the inside tip. Install the axle and see if it disturbs the grease.

They can be tricky to get in. If it looks the same as what you took out, than it has to be the right size.

Yes, it was halfshaft, got it from autozone. Had 19" but should be 18.35". I just instaled new one from rockauto.com SHO is back!:hail:
