took my car to the car wash the other day and i noticed afterwards my pass side LED tail had water in it !! not sure what happened, the whole lamp was wet inside but im thinking it came in from the backup bulb socket?? took them out and put a lil silicone around each socket so hope it cleared it up. anyone else with LED's have any problems like this?

mine are only like a month old, ive ran them threw the car wash though at least 5times since putting them on?? the high psi water must of been to much, hopefully the silicone did the trick but im not going back to the car wash to find out,loL! took a good hour to get them completely dried out with a blowdryer

I had an issue with the embedded resistor failing and disabling the turn signal on that side of the car. Unplugging the connector (for the resistor it would seem) inside the housing on the turn signal lamp fixed the issue.

I haven't had this problem and they've been in for 6 months. Car has been washed many times and it has rained heavily many times also.

it mite depend on how good of condition your rubber washer is around the socket to begin with and how you wash the car, like spraying alot of water rite inbetween the lites and trunk lid or whatever

The water runs down from the trunk lid anyways. I wash my car with a high pressure washer.

It's probably the seal around the socket as stated. Silicone it up.

Yeah, mine leaked BADLY. All my seals and whatnot were in good shape, too. My stock taillights don't leak at all. It got to be that there was probably 12oz of water in the R. side taillight and it destroyed about the entire bottom row of LED's. I ended up going back to Stock tails. I will never buy another set of those POS's again.
