I got these last year and going to install them on the SHO this week. I had done the turn signal mod where both bulbs flash on the car a few years back.
Does it matter if I leave the wiring mod the way it is or should i revert back to factory spec?

I would say plug one and in give it a try. If it works, you're good. If not, go back to stock. You shouldn't harm them since it's still the same voltage and current as the stock lamps.

FYI, it appears that car ID has discontinued carrying these, I'm going to look around but this deal may be dead now.

I have this mod on both of my SHO's, and it definitely works with the LED tails.

Looks like I held out too long and got burnt.... Oh well. With my car at my parents' house and me at college I've been investing all of my cash into my new obsession.... Airsoft. Haha.

Also, looks like there's an eBay auction selling em. 3 left. $98 free shipping.

Got mine today!

Well I got my set today, it was the set on sale on ebay.

They have "Eage Eyes" embossed on lenses. Anyways, here's a little product intro:

The box, all black, Eagle Eyes emblem on the side , Perfomacen lamps on the front.

Once you open it you feel a little more protection would of been adequate but that's a personal preferenece, can not complain for $100 shipped.

Once unwrapped you immediately notice the clear lens and how sharp these look.

Don't know if you can see it but there is the "Eagle Eyes" emboss.

Here are the connectors, just like the 3356 light connectors, be aare that these are in fact polarized and will only work one way, test the light before you install them.

The LEds are mostly centered , I noticed a couple slightly off center in a couple of the wells, can't tell a difference from two feet when lit.

Plug and play, all I had to do was cut a small hole the the grommet behind the light to run the connector for the resistor block.

When you install them you can tell the lens is not attached very well, I would definitely suggest some sealing here.

Made in Taiwan, what can you expect?

Installed Running lights.

All and all I am impressed.

Cons that I noticed were as follows:

-The lenses are a slightly different shade, this may bother me as time wears on but I'll live with it.

-Although the resistor block does work and I personally have no "Lamp Out" light, every once in a while the eft turn signal will signal faster than normal, not light speed fast, just about 1.5 times quicker, this is remedied by hitting the signal off and back on again.

-The housing needs to be sealed better, easy fix.

The positives:

-They look much better, the taillights definitely will stand out now.

-Bright, the running lights are much brighter but the brake lights are intense! No-one will ever have an excuse for rear ending you. I also noticed that the reverse light show better through this lens.

-Much faster "on" time when braking, as soon as I touch the brake pedal these light up.

Just thought I'd share, excuse the low quality pictures, I don't have a decent camera anymore. I'll get on and post some more pictures of just how bright these are.

-Josh

EDIT: I can't ignore the different shades between the lenses, I have no luck with the seller, does anyone with this same problem want to trade lights? My left side is lighter and the right side darker, I don't care if I get a darer light or lighter light, as long as they match! I will cover shipping if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the review! Also, I noticed a bit of a fitment issue on the bottom inside corner where this little trim piece sits below the license plate.

Just wanted to let others know before they purchased.
