Anyone know where I can find a good right up? I think some 194Rs would be good to use, and I'm going to chrome the inside to give it more of a focused reflection.

there are some neons that size that you could go with instead....it would give the light more spread than LEDs, unless you plan to use a few of them.

Never even thought of that... You're right though, and probably a **** of a lot easier too. Thanks for the input.

You know the temp sensor for your climate control sits behind the SHO logo. IF you install a bulb there that puts off heat your going to mess up your heating on the auto mode. But you can relocate this sensor too though.

Ishodu, would a small led put out enough heat to actually affect it? If so I think it would only be +/- 1 degree.

It will not just mess up "Auto" mode... the Climate control bases all its settings on that temp sensor. That is how it determines what the temp is in the car, and sets the blend door accordingly.

194's do get hot, unless they're LED bulbs... Incandescent bulbs get very hot.

194 leds may not get very hot, but regular 194 bulbs certainly do... Good Luck, let us know how it goes.. :D

I used a LED because the do not generate any heat and take very little wattage. I mounted two back there, one on both sides of the temperature sensor and hooked it up to my autolights so they only come on at night. Look's great, although with the way there are aimed some people who ride shotgun complain about it being in thier eyes!

Don't you a neon or 194 bulbs unless you want to throw off the sensor

So some good wide angle 194 LEDs would be good. Could I also relocate the temp sensor or is that more trouble than it's worth?

I have a whole write up on this. I've done it to a few of my friends sho's, and to mine, never had a problem
