Well, even though the auction is closed, making this a moot point, it wouldn't matter if it was grey, black, tan, blue, purple, or any other color. At least not for the front seats... For a Taurus LX, the front covers would never fit a SHO seat, because of the additional shoulder bolsters, etc...

Not to harp on this, but I was thinking... What kind of quality would the leather be if that much of it, all cut and stiched, only cost $150 retail? Okay, maybe wholesale, but still... We're talking more leather than 2 or 3 nice winter coats, and the retail on a decent leather coat is $200 easy. I'd really be curious to see what these things were made of, but I don't have the kind of money to throw away on ordering them just to sate my curiosity, so we'll have to live with speculation for now wink .

Ya know, I worked for a company called Lear this summer making the leather seats for The Chevy Impala, Monte Carlo, Buick Regal and Century..

And I can say this...the quality of the leather is marginal at best. Most of the seat wasn't really leather, as it was only the inserts that were 'true' leather, and low grade leather at that. The rest is vinyl.

The leather seats in the SHO aren't much better, I find...
