I recently bought a 97 Ebony Satin from Kirk and just wanted to let all you guys know what a great job he did. The car has 158,000 miles on it and had a cam failure. Kirk replaced the head, and got the car running beautifully. You would never know there was ever a problem with it. The entire car was gone through with a fine tooth comb - welded the cams, cleaned the engine bay while the engine was apart, etc. He also had me come up to the shop to see the engine before he put the new heads on. Pointed out where the problem was, showed me the bad head with the bent valves, all the parts that were going on and went through a detailed description of everything he was doing. He has also followed up nicely making sure that nothing has gone wrong. I am bringing it back to him, per his request, so he can check his work after it has been run for a little while. Talk about thorough. I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. We found a little tear in the rear drivers side door panel, and Kirk is getting me a new panel free of charge. All the fluids were flushed and checked before I picked it up. I couldn't be happier with the job he did. Car runs as well, if not better, than my old 97 with 80K that I crashed. All the parts that will be showing Kirk went to an extra length and made sure they were not only clean, but polished and impecable(sp). He threw in a lot of things he didnt have to (extra goodies
)
I would HIGHLY recommend Kirk for any work you need done to your Gen III, he is very professional and thorough, and knows his stuff.
