Just thought I'd say "Hi!"

Well, I might get this post closed, or get flamed for being in the wrong forum, but I just thought I'd say Hi to all you Gen III'ers out there. I just picked up a 97 SHO (White) yesterday with just under 61k miles. I came from a 97 Audi A6 (couldn't afford it any longer), and I consider myself somewhat of an enthusiast, even if I can't take the car apart and put it all the way back together again. I enjoyed participating in VW and Audi forums when I owned my VW and Audi, and I look forward to getting to know the people on this forum as well!

Hey im not a GEN 3 owner but I'm from Sand Springs, OK. I'm in the navy, if the member name/pics didn't give it away, stationed in Jacksonville, FL. I also have a post called 3.4 V8 and I'm looking for some input.

Sand Springs!! Sweet, thumbs_u I drive through there often on my way to Mannford, OK where my sister and bro-in-law live. (or maybe I should say past Sand Springs) I really don't know where I am driving, my wife usually tells me which way to go, but as least I get to drive my SHO !!!

BTW, you won't get flamed for talking on this side, an SHO is an SHO despite what year.

Thanks, I like your quote about two top quality car seats. Mine is only equipped with one. Rachel likes the import stickers on it too. My boy is a little big for the car seat now.

I live off of SE Sunnylane, and 54th. I have been to 39th... but I'm "rare" green, with yellow in my SHO letters, and Gen III wheels. The only other one I have seen out there is a Black Gen II with cheesy stickers, and lights all over it . thumbs_u

Yeah, I've met that dude you're talking about. He's about 6'6" 300lbs of solid muscle and long dredlocks. Very nice, well spoken huge black man with an evil black SHO. Death stickers an' shit. He looks as mean as his car, but is actually extremely nice. I'd hate to get on his bad side tho, he's got arms the size of my legs, and I'm 6'1 225. Makes me look like tiny.

So, if you're out there brother (Sydney, or something like that), props on that sweet ride. squint
