Well, I just got back from the Drag Strip (Gateway International Raceway), and was a tad dissappointed by the 1/4mile times I ran. I don't have a scanner at home, but have access if anyone wants to see the "offical" times I'll get them scanned and posted. But here they are for looks. All 3 runs.
-----1st------2nd------3rd
RT---1.181----.842-----.654
60'--2.424----2.424----2.424
330--6.772----6.781----6.753
1/8--10.289---10.318---10.282
MPH--70.71----70.33----71.49
1000-13.304---13.321---13.285
1/4--15.868---15.856---15.827
MPH--87.24----88.14----87.75
I did have fun and was a blast running full out. That's all my SHO had in her. As you can see my Reaction Times got better once I figured out the lights and the best way to "take off" (This is my first Automatic Trans Car). BUT no matter how good my RT was... I could never knock off any decent chunk of time or gain a bit more speed for the 1/4 mile.
Is it just me expecting too much?
Any Suggestions or just keep putting mods on her?
I'll probably run more SCCA with her, or maybe do some stock class bracket racing.
Either Way I'm still proud of her...
-Kevin
p.s.- I caught the WS6 in the next lane asleep on the last run. He didn't catch me until the last 100yds!
