Yep. Need for speed style. Stage 2 Paint and Doors, Yo!

Anyways, its not different. Different to SHOs, yes. But not to the car community.

Kind of like spinning rims. They were cool at first, then they made knock offs, and everyone got them, and now they make spinning hubcaps. And, you just dont care when you see them anymore.

And as far as me never seeing your car in person anyways. You seem to be pretty active in the 'car scene,' but you're never going to go to the National SHO Convention? Or, is the Taurus scene not 'cool' enough for you?

The fact that i work almost full time all through Highschool, and now full time in Collage, and pay for EVERYTHING i own... Its hard to take a week and all that money out to travle across the country to go to a show... And FYI... I made it out to EVERY SHO meet in the NE area this year but 2...

Well guys I went to the shop earlier when I got out of work at 5. They have ran into a little problem. Where the hinge needs to be placed on the car it interacts with the power antenna. So the power antenna is going to have to be taken out and then shaved off the car. It is going to take a few more days everything is looking really good though my front bumper is repainted once again if the guys from mass remember when the car was in the shop getting the brakes put on someone hit the front so I took care of that now. They told me the car should be done sometime next week. Whoever wants to come down next week and check it out in person you can just let me know when your coming and bring a camera. :thumb:

I also made it to tons of SHO meets this year I also only missed a couple of them. I plan to attend them all next year since I enjoy meeting up with all the SHO members from around the area and discussing different and new things that people have done. I can't wait til next time the meets start up.

A) You never said I would never see your car. The other guy did.
B) I work two jobs, and I pay for everything I own, everything on my car. I even pay rent to live in my parents house.

I had no problems leaving for a week to go to the convention. Did I end up spending more money than I thought I would, yes. Did it hurt missing a week of work? Yes. Is that going to stop me from going every year? Dont count on it.

I have the right to tell you I dont like your idea for doors, as much as you have the right to put them on your car.

I miss the exhaust pipe. alot.

Next Friday night is impossible. I'm working a long shift which is from 5:30am until 10:30pm. Its the busiest shopping day of the year at my work so I need to go in to make some extra cash. I will set something up with you guys and we can all hang out one more time before world of wheels car show comes up.

im shaving my antenna and got those VW 16valve roof mount antennas to place near the back of the roof, think that would look ok?
You can also cut a new hole in the rear quarter and re-use a power antenna I guess

Ya I was thinking of also doing the same but using like those type of fin antennas like from a bmw or an audi. I think it would look nice but I really don't want the antenna anymore because I never use the radio so I'm just going to have it completely removed. I have a friend who works at a custom car shop and he told me that I could get some type of sticky antenna under my dashboard that would still receive a ton of local channels. My friend just had the same problem because he had to do the same with the antenna on his 1999 explorer while putting lambo doors on it and he still has radio stations. I'm going to check the car out today before I go into work maybe if it looks half decent I'll snap a few pics.

umm show hondas are hondas... more common than the taurus... performance mods belong on sports cars, not family sedans. and if our cars were meant to have superchargers/turbos/cowl hoods/bigger brakes/3.2MTX/3.3/stainless exhaust/yamaha badges/ANY MOD EVER, it would have come with it stock right? sheesh give the guy a break. this is almost as bad as how everyone picked on SlowSho... he's doing something different and unique, if you dont like it, dont read the thread. disregard the naywayers man, theres a lot of us out here that even if we wouldnt do it to our own cars, are still eagerly awaiting pics.
Theres a difference in show mods, and performance mods like you mentioned. My car could be the prettiest [yes, i said prettiest] ever, and I would not be able to enjoy it as much as I do my decent looking, performance modded, daily driver.

Just the fact that if it wasnt for what SinisterSHO said.... You wouldnt of got carried away, or for that matter said anything at all. And that bothers me a little. So for that.. Im sorry.
He was agreeing with something I said. Kind of like you're agreeing with everyone that lambo doors will be cool, and he can do what he wants. Whats so wrong about that?
