Come on guys this is really getting old...give the kid a break...like i said before give him credit for doing something different,not everybody has to like it.As far as the pics go im sure once its done they will be posted,give him some time.Are some of you people really annoyed by the fact hes doing this??It sure looks that way..leave that stuff for the Honda forums.Im sure other people have done stuff to there cars before and have had alot of negativity,this wont be the first and im sure it wont be the last.Every person is entitled to their opinion and im sure he respects that but really this is getting a little rediculous.Last i thought the SHO community was a little more mature than this.Im not speaking for him but im just throwing in my .02 just like everybody else.

Yep. Need for speed style. Stage 2 Paint and Doors, Yo!

Anyways, its not different. Different to SHOs, yes. But not to the car community.

Kind of like spinning rims. They were cool at first, then they made knock offs, and everyone got them, and now they make spinning hubcaps. And, you just dont care when you see them anymore.

And as far as me never seeing your car in person anyways. You seem to be pretty active in the 'car scene,' but you're never going to go to the National SHO Convention? Or, is the Taurus scene not 'cool' enough for you?

I have spent lots of money on my car. I love sho2nv's car I myself think my car looks similar to his. It really is in many ways the only thing I don't have yet is a painted intake. My rims are different also. When I first saw sho2nvs sho I wanted mine to look just like that. Now it does, but needs to be different. SHOs would bore people if they were all the same thats why mine has to be different. I'm sorry if people have problems with what I'm doing but I will never stop modding my SHO because some person has a problem with it. I think as a 19 yr old kid with a car like mine that I have worked my butt off to do things to should atleast gain some respect even if you don't like what I'm doing. Car finish date is coming closer should be thursday.

You should be a comedy writer! If you want a show car, get a Honda with VTAK. I love your line about "SHOs would bore people if they were all the same." Uh hello, we drive TAURUS'. There is a problem with what you're doing. Lambo doors belong on Lamborghini's, not 4 door sedans. If they were meant to have scissor doors, they would have made them that way. You worked your butt of yes, to pay shops to do the work for you. I give you respect for having the guts to post this project on this board. That's it.

If you're going for different, look at SHOWYA's car. That's a good different, his car turned out AWESOME!! Lambo doors, on the other hand, are a bad different. That, and I realized how played out Lambo doors are when I saw them on a GTP and a Lightning at a small town car show this summer.

Thanks for the comment ... I personally like lambo doors. Just the hole look of it is just very awesome.

There is a reason i do not like them at all, even though i have been looking into getting them recently, and is that it takes more effort to get out of a car since the door will cover the top 1/4 or even more of the actual door opening especially on a 4 door. So if you are not careful you will bump your head a few times. I have driven a few Lambos and this is true also on this car, you have to watch your head to get out, they do not completly clear the door opening.

AutoLoc has new system that allows 130deg. of door movement. I been talking to them about sponsorship. Retail for this system is 1800!! if you want the doors motorized it will be 2500!!! For a 4 door car i think is is the best choice but it does come at a price.

Different tastes is what makes any car community so exciting. If we all liked the same thing, it would suck. Just because its your opinion or your preference doesnt make it the universal end all for cars (or SHOs in this case). I for one, appreciate anyone who is daring enough to attempt something like this regardless of my personal opinion on what what is being done.
