John's Lambo'd SHO

I think the Lambo style doors look great, but people look silly trying to get into the cars with them. I have seen one guy roll on the ground to get under the door then crawl in the seat in his lowered Honda. I'm too old to use gymnastic moves to get out and in of my SHO.

Ya some kits make it ridiculously hard to get in and out of the car but the kit I bought goes 90 degrees. Which is straight up so no bending is required to go into the car.

Cowl Hood? I've got that. Rims? I've got those too. Custom paint? Oh, I dont have that. But if you ask me, re-painting a car to look like a bass boat with the stock color, isn't "custom" paint. To each thier own, but I think 'lambo' doors on any four door are stupid. There aren't many options for the rear to make it look decent. And every set of lambo doors I've seen on a car has looked flimsy when they are open. Again, to each thier own.

His paint was done by a well known guy around here.... It would coast about 6K to have done..

SO if they are "flimsy" I would be ****** it i were him, and his paint looks AMAZING in person... DO i like like it 100% no, thats why im not painting mine like that... But i will NEVER degrade him of what he has done, or anyone else.... I talk to John alot and i asked him the other night if you to have ever had it out before because of your comments. He said no, and the only thing would could agree on is that we both think your car is hott. But get no respect back, I just dont get it. YOu know what my car is in the works of right now but yet call the . Im not doing anything to impress you, but i just dont get it? Finding respect in the car community with a sho is hard as is, never mind inside the sho community.

Again. To each thier own. Lambo doors and tv's dont impress me regardless of what they're on. Custom paint can be cool, but if you ask me, a color close to stock with metal flake in it, isn't custom. I dont care how much its cost. Yes, it draws attention because its flashy. But look at John E's car, his car is amazing in person, and draws lots of attention on its own with stock paint. I have plenty of people look at my car and compliment me, and I have a couple of door dings, and scratches.

Its great that hes doing something different to his SHO, but what he's doing isn't different in the car community as a whole. As far as it costing two grand for the doors, half of that was probably just the cost of the kit, which the company can sell it for whatever they want.

I'm sure his car looks great, its just not my thing. I dont expect people to like my car. I put the rims and hood on the car for me, however, I've had random people tell me it looks nice at stop lights. And thats great, but I dont expect it. ****, I enjoyed driving my car more after I put on my polished runners, because I knew they were polished. I think a total of 10 people have seen them on the car.

As far as getting respect in the car community with a SHO, what is this, fast and the furious?

I do have a camera. People on this forum need to stop acting immature. It's ridiculous how if people on this forum don't like one thing a person does it sparks up to this big ******** argument. I guess some people just can't give you some respect. I wonder why it's like that on here? I mean if you don't like what I'm doing that's fine because I know like I said before there was going to be mixed opinions. I don't get why this turned into being such a big deal. All I did was post this thread to show the people who wanted to see what a Sho looked like with lambo doors pictures. If you were going to hate on the fact that I have done this then keep your comments to yourself. Like get over the fact that they're getting put on my car. You will never see my car in person anyways. So stop leaving negative comments and just ignore this thread if you don't want to hear about it anymore.

Who is that directed at? Who's acting immature? No one in here is starting an argument. You said you were posting to show people what a SHO looked like with lambo doors, couldn't wait another week to actually show them? Sorry if that wasn't directed at me, you don't need your attitude just because you think others have one also.

FWIW, I believe Alex that destroyed the CF hood group buy had lambo doors on his SHO with the mustang body kit. I also believe he was taking them off because of all the crap he got from everyone.

First off I would never remove mods that I have done to my car just because somebody doesn't like them. That's just a stupid reason. I will take my car to the next breakfast and yes my car is the car with the flake and the two tone leather seats. It will be entered in a car show January called World of Wheels. A few sho people from the area are going to make an appearance. I won that car show last yr in my category when my car was entirely stock besides my system and tvs. I'm hoping to take home an award this yr also. I look forward to seeing anybody who comes down to the show. Pics will be posted soon some of you guys almost seem as anxious as me and its my car and not having it to see what it looks like is killing me. Pics will come soon thoough.
