I currently have and outstanding order with IPT. A rather large deposit was made. It has been a while since the order was placed and even quite a while since anyone has contacted me. I cannot reach Shawn via E-mail, the IPT web-site, this board or by phone. Has anyone else had these sort of porblems with them. I don't really think they are trying to rip me off (yet), but I sure as **** would like someone to respond to my E-mails and phone messages.

Update; full payment was made in September. Balance is paid. No heads. Still waiting. Tony E-mailed me on the 16 of Dec and said SS was shipping cams out that week, said that in November too. A year and a half, $1600 later and still no heads.

Would anyone else be ******?

half-way there, I think.
Now I don't feel so bad, I asked for a replacement TOB to be sent with the warranty replacement clutch - I got a TOB for a Corolla shrug

Funny thing is, when I had a very bad experience with these guys and let it be known in a factual manner here on the forum, I received many emails about how I must be a nutcase and how dare I question the business ethics of such a beloved retailer.

One was from a moderator who was speaking out of friendship, not basing his comments on the facts.

I have all the facts documented, including the many unreturned emails, a video of me opening the box and discovering the damage, pictures, the whole works.

Yet I was the friggin nutcase.

it toook half a year just to get my car. when we went to pick it up, he knew we were coming and was supposed to put on the y pipe and bleed the brakes. instead, he was at the arcade when we got there and the car wasnt done. and dont even get me started on his ******** 96 upgrade. you should take his lying *** to court. madflame .

Hehehe....I feel for your frustration but that part is kind of funny.

Hey, didn't you clue in when he asked for you to pay for the car with quarters!?

I can understand why you are personally royally ****** off! In my case, I didn't have a good or bad opinion of Shawn personally. It's just that on a business end of things, they were really lacking.

Well, hopefully everything works out for RJ-92 soon!

Actually son ( :) ) you were at home doing the lounging thing. Me and Ryan drove for 14+ hours (thought it would be 10), got down there and we met him at some sort of arcade. When we got there he informed us that the car was not finished and that it was an additional hour away at his mom's house. We weren't pleased. Thank God we didn't get there in the 10 hours we thought it was going to take.

Shawn had some awesome ideas... namely the headers and the coil overs. Both of those are awesome little toys.
I'll keep my opinion to myself on the coil overs.
