Intermediate shaft snap ring. No longer sold?

Sooo I have to reuse the old one? Will this cause a problem? I'm not sure what they even do because the axles come out with just a nudge from the back with a ball join fork.....

Mine have been in and out a dozen times on the same snap rings. I always re-use 'em.

Yeah I can't figure they are strong enough to really hold the axle in, in the event that some thing actaully you know went wrong....
