im in the process of building my 3.2L for my 90.
engine is (i think) every bolt on 3.2L with SS stg2 cams.
its also going to see 50-75 shot of zex.fuel pump is a 190lph.
now the question is,will the stock 3.2L 24lbs injectors be sufficient for this build or should i look into somthing like the Ford Racing 30lb'ers?

id like to keep the tuning as simple as possible on this build:nut:

3.2's will be fine... especially since your on the ZEX. (NMU will bump FP)

I'd get them cleaned though.. or pick up the ones off ebay that are remanufactured. :thumb:

You will be at the upper end of the injector duty cycle, but it will work fine.:thumb:

When I was running my 3.2L on the juice, I got to where a .040 main and .043 were making the same mph, regardless of how I tuned it, or regardless of what fuel pill I was using. Was telling me that the injectors were either maxed, or the spray pattern was so bad that essentially, they were maxed.

You can check previous threads, and J. Hrinsin would be a good choice, but I think the accel 48# units have a really nice spray pattern, even at higher rail pressures. That's a big injector, but you could tune it work nicely with your ~300 hp N/A set up, and then still have plenty of headroom for increased rail pressure under the juice.

I believe Brian W. has gone faster than my 89 ever did (109 mph on the stock cams) with his juiced +40 cams. I would have liked to have run those, N/A they picked up 3-4 mph in the traps.

I've trapped 110MPH at a 100SHOt! 113MPH when my Y pipe ripped off and it was open headers!!! All this power, and my best ET is only a 13.56.:oogle: I, however am running 3.0 injectors, and I can safely say they ARE maxed out with a 100 shot. The difference from a 75 to a 100 shot of N2O really show's up on the duty cycle. I have 6 little garden hoses. I really think in my application, the 3.0 injectors are definately too small.:p

This is why the SHO needs a Ypipe with a 2.5" (min) collector outlet, and 3" for big hp cars. 3 mph is ~30 hp.

None of this "uses the stock donut gasket" stuff, that's a single 2.25" pipe. :nono:

Some 26x9.5x16 Hoosier QTP's will solve that in a hurry.

I bet you $100 you'll find them easier on the axles to....
