Info from Perf. Plus Re. Cam Welding

This is what perf. plus told me about there cam welding, is this legit?
Mike,
-The cam welding is $525,
-We don't replace the intake gaskets as they are re-useable, nor do we clean intake runners or fuel injector O-rings--not necessary. (hmm)
-Plugs are $52 with no charge to install.
-We can also do the valve adjustment 1F4t with the cam weld at no additional charge.
-We will clean off the valve cover gaskets--have not had to replace any as yet.

Is this correct? I trust their judgement but it doesn't exactly cooincide with what I have heard thus far about the procedures that should be done with the cam weld.
Should I do it if I decide not to sell my SHO?

I had my cams welded there In late October 2002. see my post at:

I have all the faith and confidence in Dougs work. No they don't go into the detail that perhaps Kirk does. But I am satisifed that my SHOWHAT9 will be running long past others that have become lawn chairs or beer cans.

lol, thanks, that makes me fell alot better. Now I need to just find the cash, make an apt. and get it done. I think I am going to plan to spend a weekend down there. I am going to get my Roush springs installed as well.
