I've looked in my Chiltons, and searched thru here, and don't see anyone saying how to get out the slider pins. Well...How do you get them out?? I believe they are my problem on my RR caliper hanging up, which it didn't do before I rear did my back brakes. Any suggestions??

You know the 15mm nut you have to hold while taking off the 2 caliper bolts, thay are the ends of the slider pins.Pop off the small boot, and they SHOULD slide right out.

FYI, On my 94 ATX, I got stuck on vacation, (lovely sho's!), with metal/metal front brakes. On the front left of a 94 atx at least, one got stuck when I went to install the pads. That slide pin should be free, nothing holds it in but the bolt that you took out to install the brakes...... I had a guy at Midas heat it up with a torch... and it came out, but I lost the rubbeb boot, but greased the heck out of the pin once freed, and its been good ever since! Good Luck!
