In need of ideas

last week my batt light came on , so i stopped at advanced auto parts and had them check my charging system - they said my alt was bad. ok so i had that replaced - i did the work myself. the batt light is still comming on? im thinking maybe the bad alt killed the batt? thats the only idea i have? any other ideas out there? maybe something i should check? cause im kinda thinking my batt is good , its not that old. maybe i missed something? im thinking the alt must be working a bit , im able to drive it around for about 20min and it doesnt die on me , and starts right back up. my air bag light also flashes 12 the code for low batt. the batt has good connections and is clean , no corrosion.

Where'd you buy the alternator? There's a lot of bad alternators out there.

just got back from auto parts store and they ran a test on my charging system - they said batt and alt all checked out ok. my batt light still comes on and my air bag light keeps flashing the code 12. i dont know what to do? maybe a bad sensor somewhere? i dunno
