Important Spring run details

Just to clear up some confusion..
This is a VERY relaxed deal. If 3 or 4 people in the group want to blaze down the road as fast as possible, then that's great If there's a group of 4 or 5 that want to hang back, and go at your own pace, then that's great too! We take frequent stops along the way, photo opps, group photos, chances to stand around and shoot the bull (Kerby's favorite wink )

Bottom line is everyone gets detailed directions before we leave the meeting place. There are several in the group that prefer not to hot dog the whole run. Don't feel pressured to do something you don't want.

But the one thing everyone must do is enjoy themselves! Any questions post them here.

I'm staying Saturday night then to hang out and have fun!

Brian, are you for sure on going to the Autocross on the 6th? I have to cancel something to go...I'd rather do the Autocross though.

The good news.. I found a shop that passed me today, I don't need to re-tint my windows afterall!

LOL, I'll be in the pack with Mike, mexican, and Damien. I'm up for some fast driving on occasion, but not when it's blantantly breaking the speed limit, and ESPECIALLY when there are cops around (not that there will be where we're going).

That's probably wise. You may find yourself pushing it a bit more as the day goes on. The roads are a lot of fun, but they aren't for super high speeds, most of them are rather curvy.

I thought those numbers on the white signs were merely suggestions. At least that's the way I treat them. Of course, it's a good suggestion around a cop.

Don't let Mexican fool you. He's the only guy that ever past me while I was doing 130, up hill, and going around a curve...

And I'll stand around al BS with the best of you, just don't ask me to wait on you while you WASH your car!

Yeah, that taco maker is quick. Taco's on demand, and around corners in a jiffy!

I think I can say with all honesty I had the filthiest car on the last run, hopefully I won't have that honor this year.

LMAO, that's friggin' hilarious, Scotty. Trust me, sometimes I wish that there WEREN'T speed limits, but they're there for a reason, so I try to abide by them as much as possible (espeically still being on the dad's insurance, I don't won't any tickets or accidents, either).

Last time Scott got a real nice room for 4 of us there in Austin only a short drive from the Oasis. I can't remember the name of the hotel, but it was really nice and had good clean rooms. Scott will have to help me on this one..the Oasis is probably pretty pricey compared to what we could get in town..just my opinion...

That was the Marriott Spring Hill Suites located at 10936 Stonelake Blvd, Austin, TX, 512-349-0444. We will have to make some arrangements again this trip. I have not yet done this, but now that you mention it....
