Idles rough and lost power?

My 93 SHO has been idling rough and has lost power. It doesn't always run like this, its just does for the most part. And sometimes when it does this the tach acts erratic. Anyone know what this could be?

replace the DPFE sensor for the egr. ive seen this problem on many of these vehicles.and parts store should stock them. cya
