I too have a weird chime

I have a chime other than the one when the door is open with the lights on or the key in. This one is loud and sounds like it comes from the center of the dash. It last for about a minute after i start the car up then about a half hour later it does it again right on time in the same area im driving every day. Its weird, and very annoying. Ive tryd to find it but i dont see anything.

I have already checked my trunk for childs toys so thats not the problem. I saw in another post that it could be that airbag warning. Do the 91's have this??

Yes, it's your airbag warning. It should be a 5 X 5 sequence.

Your airbag light in the dash is inoperative plus you have an airbag system fault.

OK...i found it and unplugged it. How do i fix it? I would like to have my airbag work. Is it just a matter of replacing a light?

For starters.

Once the light works, it will flash a fault code to give a starting point for diagnosis.
