so using a pump like this you would just need to drill 2 holes in the oil pan for the source and return right?

Oil is pumped to the turbo via your engine, like using the oil pressure port. That pump is return only.

i was just reading the specs on that pump and it is 1-2GPH @60psi and that is more oil pressure than the SHO engine devlopes, i was just wondering if it could be done that way, or is it just that much safer to just use it as a return pump.

Somedude001, underpsi's assessment of the basic design is right. but I think your asking if the tilton pump could be used in a standalone oiling system pump. I think it could, but that scheme has big logistical problems. the turb goes from x00 rpm to 45K+ rpm in less than a second so the oil system would have to be dynamic too.

I opted to used engine oil supply from the engine metered down to the flowrate I posted above, I think that this is the most reliable way to address the dynamic element in the oiling needs of the turb. though my choice in pump could be better, atleast I get a back rub on my test drives....

In a stand slone system you would have to use two pumps, one supply and one return. You only need consistant oil flow, more pressure with more rpm is not needed for a turbo. You can only feed it so much as the drain is gravity.

Edit- If you were using a sump to catch the drain back, you could use one pump, feeding off the sump, to feed the turbo. My bad.
