I didn't know Shos' bleed silver?

:cry: :cry: Was walking out of work, had the SHO warming up, noticed a drip and about a dollar sized puddle under the car...*Uhh ohh* was hoping it was just the P/S, as it IS leaking...back the car up. Hmmm silver, oh crap, smell it, yep tranny fluid :banghd: It HAS been noisy in the mornings till it warmed up, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't been leaking, but it probably has...*sigh*...

from just a quick glance under the car it looked like it was coming from the clutch/flywheel area...seal maybe, hopefully.

This is what I get for telling it I would fix the front-end and do an upper 60K @ tax time. It smelled money and wanted more...maybe my car should run for Congress LOL

Check the fluid level. If it's way low, I'd be inclined to think it's a bit worse than a leak.

Silver tinted fluid usually means aluminum shavings. The only aluminum bits are the case and the shift forks.

I was wondering, but it didn't look like shavings quite so much...and the fluid smelled like Synthetic...are any of the syncromesh or the other synth fluids silver in color?

Yeah I parked it... It's full of metal flakes no doubt...I'll try to get a good look at it sometime this week
