I was fooling around today and seeing what parts I can identify and noticed I have no throttle body cover. Well I also noticed my throttle cable has a little play to it, like i can move it up and down with ease, is this right? My car has been accelerating oddly and im changing the Throttle position sensor tomorrow. How can I tighten it if it is not right?

take off the intake hose so that you can see the throttle body butterfly. Have someone floor it (motor off please) to verify that the throttle is fully opened. That will determine if the cable is actually stretched.

By hose do you mean the ********* tube that says "throttle body" and if it is stretched what should i do? Also would this cause odd shifting (between 35-40mph the car acts like it doesnt know what to do whether to cruise or shift) Thanks

Oh okay there's the description. I thought that you had a manual transmission. Looks like my problem is elsewhere.
