I am OK

I am OK. My family is OK too. Even all three of our houses are OK, thank God.

If you know who I am, you know what I own. For those who don't, the avatar should clear things up.

This last weekend a "controlled" burn got out of hand. For those in Cali, that probably surprises no one. We left through the flames after everything went pear shaped.

I already let the previous owners know before I posted it up. And Nick from BaySHO is going to handle the Facebook side of things, since I do not have one.

Attached is the only picture I have gotten. There is no data or service in the burn. I don't know when I get to go back. But at least I have my grandpa's old home to return to at some point. Sorry y'all.

Very glad you and your family are safe. And the call today meant a lot to me. So sad to see the wagon there, but so many people knew about it, experienced it. It was on Bring a Trailer. I wrote about it for Autoblog, Car Throttle, and I'll be talking about it on this week's Motor1 podcast. But cars can be rebuilt. Lives, not so much. Stay safe man.

I talked at length with Bart this morning after having read that the fire in Northern CA had overtaken his town. So sad the car is toast. Was really looking forward to working on it. But that is eclipsed by the fact that he and his family and all of their houses survived.
