there are screws around the door handles....and sometimes behind the small light panels......remove the screws from the door panel....carefully peel the door panel back and look if it is held by any clips.... BE CAREFUL!! this is basically how the doors on any car can be taken off...

The rear deck covers can be removed by gently prying up on each corner with a butter knife or putty knife. There is a bracket in there that you'll need to undo and the sub is in a rubber basket type deal that you'll need to undo before you can remove it.

As smokesho said, be very careful when prying the door panels off. If you damage those clips your door panel will be loose forever and ever amen.

I had to remove the back seats in my 94atx to get my rear speakers out, because you have to lift up the package tray to get the speaker sheilds off. On the front doors put your fingers in the bottom between the panel and door and pull out. What part of Cleveland are you in.

The speakers themselves could be a little different, but the bracket in the front door is the same. The rear deck I thought was the same...my friend has a gen II and those came off the same as mine. I suppose he could have changed it out, but he didn't tell me if he did.

Either way the clips can be damaged easily in removal and when you put it back on. They are just plastic and bend easily.

You SHOULD buy the door clip removing tool from Snap On, also buy a few extra clips.
Otherwise you will likely damage the clips.

Um I changed m front speakers and being the way I am i just ripped off the door panel after removing the screws. Destroyed all 14 clips in the proccess. So I went down to Ford and picked up 40 or so for about $2. So destroy them all you want.
