I have searched the archives and really can't find too much information on this one. Is there any way for the average person to get a look at the ford parts diagrams, like the ones they have at the parts counter and identify your own parts? I have a couple of Ford vehicles (My SHO included) that I would like to find parts for, and would like to have a book or computer program with all that information. Anyone ?

There is a certain other car manufacturer (not mentioning any names here) that publishes their parts books and own one for one of my parents vehicles and makes it VERY easy for locating parts as you can crossreference the OEM Part #

Thanks!

From experience, a lot of the times they aren't even correct!

What parts would you be looking for? That would make it easier.

parts

The fuel tank was leaking, and come to find out whom ever replaced the fuel pump (prior owner) didn't do a very good job. I need the O-Ring and lock ring, both of which aren't easily identifiable to anyone at the parts counters around here at autozone or advanced auto w/o a part # :)

If you need a lock ring, I have an extra one! :thumb:

As for the O-Ring, I have 2, but you would be better off buying a new one. If you're replacing the fuel pump, too, auto performance engineering has great deals that come with all the stuff you need, like that o-ring. :thumb:
