Well here are some pictures so I could show you. The main question is -Which one is positive on the connector? I tried hooking it up both ways and it sounds the same. I thought the wire with the white line would be negative, Anybody know for sure?

Here are the pictures---

I never quite figured it out because I didnt want to take out my head unit for the 20th time. It doesnt really matter so long as you keep it constant. Usually the stripped wire is negative. So long as you keep them the same on both it will be okay. If you do them opposit of each other they will work, but you will get an area of no sound. I tried it once on 2 subs you could see them working but no sound.

DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF! get it done by a paid installer... their pre-amped and will short your speakers if you dont have the correct harness for the speakers!

Loudsho92 is right. Just pick a wiring scheme and stick with it(ie-striped is negative). Speakers really dont have + and - terminals, they're just marked for reference. They can be hooked up either way and work fine.

What happens when you hook up speakers "out of phase" is that the speaker cones are always moving in opposite directions. So the sound produced by one speaker is cancelled out by the other speaker. It doesn't happen with mid-high frequencies but it does affect bass.
