How do I Depressurize fuel system ?

I believe my HPFP is failing. Having misfires and shuttering at high rpm. Curious how do I Depressurize the system so I don’t have 2000psi of fuel spraying every where. I seen a video on how to install the Xfi upgraded unit but no mention of fuel pressure relief.
Input needed so I don’t burn the car down. Thanks in advance

I remember reading somewhere, you pull the fuse for the lpfp and run the engine till it stops.

Yeah Iv seen that too. Wasn’t sure if that was the best way

Just crack it open, there is not 2000 psi of fuel behind it when the car is off.

Yep, just crack it. The only pressure that would be there, would be from the LPFP and since it will be off, pressure will be minimum.
