I don't know if this is really suppost to fix the high idle problem but V8SHO has a reset idle article up go check it out http://v8sho.com/sho/Reset%20Idle.htm

Would this make it possible to set your idle higher and make it so the car wouldn't roll back (not that I would like to but just an idea)?

Actually, I rather like the fact that the car will roll back. Keeps me on my toes.

For when switching between auto and manual, I mean.
