Hesitation problem

It usualy happens under 2K, the car hesitates and it shakes as if it is working on 2 cylinders. At the same time, I can also hear explosions in my exaust, meaning the car is running rich. I have new plugs and motorcraft wires, and there is no oil in the plug wells, but I will try to switch to motorcraft 32pp plugs. It hapens in almost any gear under 2k, when you try to floor it. If you press the gas pedal slowly as the sppeed increases there is no hesitation. Thanks for the help in advance.

Are you getting a Check Enigine Light? Did you run codes? What plugs are you running? If they are not motorcraft/autolite, that is probably your problem going on the information you gave. I would replace the plugs if they are not motorcraft w/ motorcraft plugs, that should fix your problem.
