I got some seats that came with sliders that I need to get some brackets fabricated for. I dont think the corbeau brackets will work and Ive already tried modifying the stock bracket with no luck. The track event is next week, so Ive only got one shot to get it right before the event. Im not even sure where to look in the phone book, so Im trying to find out if anyone in the NJ area has done their own seat brackets or has had them done somewhere around here and could help me out. Thanks.

The first part of my brackets is a pair of aluminum strips that run from the front mounting points to the rear. 3/16" thick, 3.5" wide. Drill for the front holes and attach, then beat the strips into submission to catch the rear studs. I put a pair of spacers under one of the strips to get them to be on the same plane. These strips give you a location to either bolt on fixed 'L' brackets, or sliders. I never really measured anything, just place, mark, and drill.

If you don't have aluminum, 1/8" steel should work.

What's the track event? Where is it? I may be interested in going. Can you post more info?

That would work great but i wouldnt have a place to attach the seat belt receptacle to like on your side mount bracket. Thats the sticking point here for me.

How long was the aluminum strip?

Mike Ill call you later.
