I got done installing the new engine, but I cant get it to stay running, it starts, then the rpms go up to 1300 or so, then just drop slowly, then once it drops to 400 or so it dies...it runs for about 3-5 seconds... Then if I try pressing the gas it will die instantly...I think it is fuel related, or could it be exhaust related? the Y-pipe cant be on correct, because it is louder than normal... I released the fuel pressure by the throttle body until the air bubbles stopped, but after that the car wont even start, and the fuel pump is about 25k old... what could be the problem? 94 3.2 engine 70k miles..

anything to do with the EGR? either? Coil pack?
HELP

Hmm sounds like a problem I had with my old SLO with the same symptoms after installing a pheno spacer on it. How's your EGR doing? Mine hadn't sealed all the way, then after that it turned out to be a bad EGR unit itself. Could be worth a shot.

Int recall seeing one on my manifold.. is i on all cars? I swear this is gas related, could the coil pack have anything to do with it?

That flying saucer thing is your EGR near the drivers back of the intake. Before you do anything else, look down the intake tube if it looks anything like this:

It needs cleaned out really bad and that should solve your problem (The bottom two black spots should be holes resembling the top two.)
