I just did some searching on here and came across a thread very similar to mine. And I think that my heater core is blocked and I'd like to know which hose do I connect a water hose to to flush the heater core?

rubydist, if the heater core was able to reduce the temperature of the water THAT much, there'd be no need for a radiator on the front of the car. I understand what you're saying but both hoses should be hot. Yes, one will be hotter than the other, but not by an amount you could distinguish by touch.
SHOstuff,
You're either still low on coolant or your water pump is shot or there's a blockage. To look for a blockage, it doesn't matter which side you use. Unhook both ends. I'd first TEST for a blockage. Use a funnel and a hose and just see how freely water will flow out the other side if you pour it in from a bucket, elevated a couple of feet. If it pours out of the hose but drips out of the other side of the core, it's blocked and you might try a "Zip It" Drain cleaner. You should be able to thread this in one side and have it get way more than half way. When you pull it out, it should be clean. Do this on both sides and try the water from a bucket again if the zip it comes out caked with glarph.
Here's a pic...
