Hey peoples. So, after having the H&R springs on for about a month now, I’m not gonna lie the ride is much rougher. To the point where I’m battling my choice to put it back on stock springs. Obviously the car looks AND handles SO much better with the H&R springs. But for Christ sake it’s bad on some bumps. Ugh. Anyone out there have any alternatives that actually produce good ride quality similar or as good as stock? I mean the stock suspension on the PP model is stiffer than normal cars BUT it was still good in my opinion. I’m open to suggestions. I know there are coilovers out there but they are more expensive and I’m not even sure if the ride quality would be better? I also heard you’re not supposed to daily coilovers on ****** roads every day. So yeah I don’t know. Wish I could just keep stock but I wish it was literally just like a half inch lower. The gap is huge.

You can also cut 4" off the stock rear springs to lower the back. You can't cut the front springs tho

Pics from anyone you of who has done it? Wonder where I’d find a garage that would be willing to do that. Faaaack. At least it would make it level and I’m assuming ride quality would stay relatively the same..?

I did this on my 2016 PP, cut the rear springs to bring the back down a little under 1" to level it out a bit and get rid of the downward dog look. I am not bothered with the stock height in the front, but the back was just too high in stock form. It's not a hard job to do. I cut about 8" of coil off my PP springs, could have taken a little more off but was being cautious.
No obvious change in ride or handling other than you notice the back is a little lower when driving, which is a very welcome change.
I didn't want the harshness of the H&Rs, and it's not even my daily.
I'll see if I have any recent pics

Yes please send some pictures. Thanks for the feedback. Man I’m so eager to get this done like really soon. The H&Rs make me not wanna drive this beautiful car. Looks great but sucks driving. I wonder where I can find someone to cut the springs for me though. Hmmm.

This is a friend’s car. He cut “half a coil” according to him. My trick of leveling the car is having a big sub in the trunk so you get the looks and sound 2-in-1 deal lol.

have you thought about putting the factory springs back up front only and see if the height is ok with the H&R out back still? if The ride height is ok then drive it a few days and test the quality of the ride.

here ya
Is there enough adjustment in the headlights to bring them down after the rear is lowered?
go ahead and try - I have to say I never adjusted mine, but now you have the deets - let us all know, my feeling is you will have enough adjustment room.
