From the overwhelmingly positive response I got in the Gauging Interest post for these clips, I've nailed down a "Production Version 1" design and I'm ready to take orders. I have had the final version of these clips installed on my car for about 4 months and have had no issues with them.

I've set up a storefront to take orders for this project here: https://jonheese.com/shop/index.php/product/spark-plug-wire-clips-for-ford-taurus-sho-v6-3-0l-3-2l/

They are available in Grey or Black (no price difference), and/or there is an option to download the STL files to 3D print these yourself.

All purchase options include:

3D printer files (STL) only: $10
3D printer files (STL) plus stainless steel hardware: $15
Full set of seven (7) clips: $40
Full set of seven (7) clips plus STL files: $50
Full set of seven (7) clips plus stainless steel hardware: $45
Full set of seven (7) clips plus STL files and stainless steel hardware: $55

NOTE: All prices include shipping
via USPS in a padded envelope to US & Canada only.

If you're interested in a set of these clips, please go there and place an order now. Please be aware that your payment method will be charged immediately, but I am going to give this 14 days to allow folks to get in on the first batch. After 2 weeks (on February 10th, 2025), I will place the order with my supplier to have the clips produced, which usually takes 10-14 days, and as soon as I receive them I will package them up and mail them out to recipients, so please plan to receive these around the first or second week of March, worst-case scenario.

I don't think there are many Gen1/Gen2 SHOs outside of North America, but please DM me if you are outside US/Canada and we can make arrangements.

I will likely order a few more sets than are purchased, in case there is any further interest after the Feb 10th cutoff, but I can also easily order more batches as needed in the future.

Thanks!

do you have an option for payment by Paypal? I can pay extra to cover the paypal fees
Yes, I had Paypal enabled as a payment method but apparently broke it at some point. I have fixed that feature and Paypal should be working now.

All of the payment processors take their cut and I have built that percentage into the prices, so don't worry about it.

Ordered! I previously said one set, but ordered two sets since I have two cars. Thanks for making these available.

Do you have any pics of the stainless hardware that you are going with? Pics of them installed on your front valve cover? I'm getting at least two sets but I want to see how they look with the hardware you've chosen. Thanks

Sure, here are some pics of the screws on my desk:

I took a couple shots of the grey clips installed on my car, but honestly, the valve covers are so dirty, they're kind of embarrassing and I think I need to really detail the valve covers and take some better shots. You can't really see the screws in any of the pics I took because they're mostly covered by the spark plug wires, but here they are:

I received my screws! How will the STL files be sent?
Hmmm.. you should have been offered a download when you checked out. I can send you the link manually tomorrow when I’m back in front of a real computer — I’ll contact you directly to get that taken care of.

(So far you’re the only one who’s bought the STL files, but I did test it out on myself beforehand and it worked for me. But yeah, we’ll get it worked out!)

If it was on the store page I probably clicked through it. I figured it would be an email.

Download link PM'd.

I will update the store page to more clearly indicate that the download link will show on the final checkout page. Thanks.

Nice! Those look excellent!

Definitely stress test them though — I had a lot of problems with those thin sections breaking along the layer lines, especially when they flexed during wire insertion.

Printing them on their sides went a long way towards solving that problem though, so if you find them weak, that would be my first suggestion.
